This complete renovation carried out in Corbeville highlights our simultaneous mastery of two demanding materials: marble and cement tiles. This type of mixed project requires a differentiated technical approach to respect the specific mineralogy of each surface while harmonizing the final aesthetic result. The goal was to restore these floors, highly prized today for their authentic charm, to their former glory.
The cement tile section underwent a thorough restoration protocol. After carrying out multiple structural repairs to consolidate the damaged elements, we proceeded with comprehensive stripping and meticulous sanding. To enhance the patterns and ensure the floor's longevity, we applied a wax emulsion protective treatment. This specific finish nourishes the material, revives the intensity of the colors, and creates a durable protective barrier.
Meanwhile, the marble received a custom treatment to regain its natural nobility. We implemented a "Flex" technical sanding combined with stripping to level the surface and remove deep-seated dirt. The polishing was executed to achieve a honed finish, offering a silky touch and a contemporary matte elegance. Final protection was ensured by the application of a high-performance impregnating sealer, sealing the stone's porosity to guarantee optimal stain resistance and facilitate daily maintenance.
